A Nationwide Movement Takes Root!
Since the book's publication, it's been exciting to witness how Last Child in the Woods has inspired No Child Left Inside initiatives in twenty-seven states. Companies including Subaru and REI; associations such as the Sierra Club, The Trust for Public Land, and The Nature Conservancy; and the U.S. Department of the Interior have all recognized the importance of Louv's work and are now embracing and promoting its message.
