We initiate a national campaign to add sustainablility classes to public shcools curriculum. Class such as: pick 2 or 3 as part of diploma.

1.biophilic design/construction
2.sustainable cities
3.Restoration 101 (wetlands,savannahs,forest,etc.)
4.hiking/backpacking (level 1,2,and 3)or just 101
5.Archery/gun 101 and safety (this is and has to be a bi-partisan issue) Middle school
6.Natures Benefits (make this mandatory pre-requisite)
7. bugs, butterflies, and bees (for elementary age)
8.

I would also like to see Richard make a video to sell(with the sounds and sights of naure in it) and run on pbs to help market his books

This campain could be in the form of a bill(either state by state then as a nation). We could add things in it like grants for All new schools or shcools being re-roofed are replaced with green roof classrooms and butterfly/bird migration stops.
It could include a mega green job push with things like:

1. Mega solar farms strategically placed
2. Clean air/water section
  a. Tree planting goals
  b. Trails
  c. Historical/museum creation
  d. etc.

Highways with native grasses, wildflowers, wetlands, and forest that absorb exhaust and benzene while producing an oxygen rich environment and eliminating the need to mow!

What a great way to travel the United States?
